On a beautiful summer evening, Laura from Ida Rose Events invited friends and family to a whimsical, Bridgerton inspired dinner party. She designed a long tablescape filled to the brim with fresh florals and illuminated by floating globe pendant lights and tall taper candles. Draped under white linen, hand-hung tent, the pastel colors set the scene for an elegant tea party.

Each place setting was set with layers of ornate, floral china in playful pastels. The delicate teacups, candlelight, and summer evening weather were so warm and welcoming, perfect for this intimate dinner. The gorgeous centerpieces by Petals and Promises spanned the entire length of the table, making us feel like absolute royalty.

Laura was the most thoughtful host, arranging for each guest to have their own personal little cake from Fluffy Thoughts Bakery. Each cake featured detailed baroque gold accents and a powder blue face pendant, reminiscent of the British silhouette art style popular in the 19th century. The details in the cake reflected the gold pattern on the charger plates below, perfectly pulling the over-the-top look together!

Guests arrived dressed to indulge in the theme, with puffy sleeves, layered dresses, and lots of ruffles. Each of us were provided white gloves with the cutest little bows to get us in the mood for an upscale tea with girlfriends. Laura and her family were dressed in the most adorable dresses, and her earrings were too precious not to document. Even her baby was dressed up for the affair!
